System settings override notification options in Silence
Bug description
I don't know if this is something under the app's control, but I recently switched to a Samsung Galaxy S10e running Android 10, and it now ignores the notification settings in Silence. I have the app set to vibrate on receiving a message (which worked fine on my old phone, though it was running Nougat) but the notifications set to silent. Silence's settings are ignored (I also tried adding an alert sound, but it was also ignored.) in favor of the system settings for Notifications. Notably this also happens in reverse: if I set Silence not to vibrate, but turn on vibrate in the Notification settings, the phone vibrates when I receive a message. But Silence does not actually show up in the list of apps that have recently sent me notifications (not that you can change anything even if it does, so it's just odd, not likely relevant), so I'm very confused. I'm left with the option between silent notifications for Silence, or vibrate/sound for all notifications (except phone calls). I don't know if this is something you have control over or if it's just the situation in Android 10, but it would be nice to have it fixed. -->
How to reproduce
- Set Notifications to "silent"
- Set Silence to "Notifications enabled", Vibrate "on".
- Receive message in Silence.
Actual result: Message notification pops up but phone does not vibrate (or ring, if set that way). Expected result: Message notification with phone vibration (which worked on my older phone)
